Make it snow

Make it snow in the summertime. You can, with a little Photoshop magic.

November 3, 2020

Let’s face it – November and December are generally hectic months with many of us rushing about shopping for gifts, prepping for family gatherings, sending greeting cards, wrapping presents, stringing up lights and all that goes into the hustle and bustle that the holiday season brings. In reality, wintertime is often dreary and far from the snow globe ideal that’s depicted on most holiday cards. But it can be fun to pretend we’re living in a winter wonderland, and we can do that with a little magic from our old friend, Photoshop.

In this tutorial, Unmesh Dinda from PiXimperfect shows us how to use your Wacom Intuos Pro tablet with Photoshop to turn even the summer-iest photo into an enchanting wintery scene. To get a believable effect, we’d recommend making sure the clothing your models wear matches the chilly temperatures, but you can get the idea of what can be done by watching the fun little tutorial above.
